Tennessee RiverPark

The Tennessee Riverpark is the crown jewel of Hamilton County’s Park system. Beginning at TVA’s Chickamauga Dam and stretching ten miles along the Tennessee River to downtown Chattanooga, this linear park offers users opportunities to enjoy a variety of activities and learning experiences.

The Riverwalk itself is an eight to ten foot wide, landscaped and lighted concrete trail leading to parks and breath-taking views along the river. It is designed for use by both walkers and bicycle riders.

The riverwalk has 8 entry points, beginning at the Ross’s Landing in Downtown Chattanooga, followed by the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridget, Coolidge/Renaissance Park, Curtain Pole Road, Rowing Center, Amnicola Marsh, Riverpoint, Fishing Park and Chicamauga Dam.

The Park is managed in partnership with Hamilton County and the City of Chattanooga.
