Chattanooga Registration

The Tennessee Association of Vintage Base Ball is excited to announce that we have roster spots available on a few of our Chattanooga clubs for the 2017 season. Here’s the top 3 things you need to know: 1.) You should probably like baseball or the history of base ball… we talk about it a lot! 2.) You should understand our primary mission is not to win games; it’s to educate and entertain our communities through 19th century base ball matches. And, 3.) it’s somewhat of a commitment, so here’s when we’re playing this year.

Players will be assigned to clubs based on available openings, geography, personal preference, and other factors. Payment must be received at the time of registration. The registration fee is $100 which helps defray our costs related to insurance and equipment. You will also be responsible for providing your own uniform, which averages around $150, but varies per club. We play 12 regular season match games between April and September, with three of the matches out of your region.

Players will need to affirm the contents of the Ballist Manual and our Credo, which can be found here.
